Dear Friend:

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused changes, great and small, in all of our lives.  St. Luke Community Clinic has had to revise its delivery models to adhere to CDC guidelines and to protect its patients, staff, and volunteers.  Yet we continue to provide critical health care and medications to the underserved of Front Royal and Warren County.  Our motto remains “Because we care, we are open.”  By remaining open St. Luke is doing its part to flatten the COVID-19 curve by helping people avoid unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations.

Health care is costly even that offered at “free clinics” like St. Luke.  The Annual Benefit is our major fundraiser for the year.  Usually held at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, it will assume an altogether different format this year so that participants will not increase their odds of contracting COVID-19 in a communal setting.  Instead of a gathering, meal, or hands-on auctions, the Benefit will be held as a “virtual event” from September 21-26 through social media.  An online auction will be conducted and our sponsors, donors, and supporters will be publicly recognized during this time framework.  More specifics about this format will be provided later.

Because many persons including our patients are experiencing financial distress at this time, St. Luke needs your support more than ever.  Your generosity will ensure that we have the resources to keep our doors open to those in need.  Please consider giving a donation for the auction.  We and our patients will be most grateful for anything you can do to help.

Specifically, we are requesting an item from your establishment to be used in our on-line auction. Your donation would be immensely helpful to our efforts and would make a profound difference in the lives of so many deserving people who are simply unable to afford health insurance.
